Charity Erg

Swansea University Rowing Club is took on a monumental task of a club erg with the aim of rowing 1920 (the foundation year of Swansea University) kilometres on the 8th and 9th of May.

We did this to help raise money for the Wave Project Cymru, an excellent charity that helps young people with mental health issues by reducing anxiety and improving confidence through surfing. It’s a great cause that many of club members feel passionately about and any money raised will contribute to funding surf therapy lessons in the local area of South Wales. We've currently raised over £1000!
