2018/19 Committee
As the final term in Swansea draws to a close, it's time we introduce the members forming the 2018/19 committee.
President - Ewan Mortlock

Ewan joined the club back in 2014 as a novice and since then he has gone from strength to strength, proving to be a key athlete within the senior men's squad, and a strong leading figure amongst the rest of the club. He looks forward to "building on the success that recent years has bought the club" and "projecting the rowing club to greater heights".
Secretary - Ellie Henderson

Ellie is heading into her third year of rowing at Swansea and thinks it's time to start giving back to the club. The role of secretary requires great organisation, and communication skills and having already been the co-founder of another society it's clear she'll do a good job.
Treasurer - Catherine Nunn

Catherine approaches problems in a considerate, logical and professional manner, and is well suited to the role of treasurer. She is looking to leave a positive mark on the role and leave a good example to follow.
Social Secretary - Charlie Kirk

Charlie joined us a novice this year and has really made an impact on the club. Whether it be keeping the party going on the bus back from a long weekend of racing, or becoming the first and only member of the Swansea University Rowing Club Welsh Male Voice Choir. I'm sure we all look forward to seeing what he can bring to the social scene next year.
Kit and Media Officer - Sam Carroll

Sam came to the university this year having previously rowed as a junior at Hinksey Sculling School. He possesses a co-operative and easy-going personality, perfect for communicating with our kit providers and keeping the rowing club's social media profiles ship shape.
Senior Men's Captain - Jack Gibson

Jack also joined us this year having spent two years sculling at Reading University. Jack brings with him a plethora of knowledge about the sport and an approachable way of working. I'm sure we all look forward to seeing what he can achieve with the senior men's squad next year.
Senior Women's Captain - Lucy Swithenbank

Lucy is a long time serving member of the club and brings with her a wealth of experience to the senior women's squad. Being so close to the senior women's first varsity win this year, she looks forward to sealing the deal next time.
Novice Men's Captain - Tom King

Tom has been a key player this year within the novice men's squad, being part of the crew that won varsity. He is excited to take on this role and help lead a new generation of novice men to that all-important varsity win.

Novice Women's Captain - Georgia Walton
Georgia is heading into her third year at Swansea and felt being novice women's captain was the perfect opportunity to pass on her experience to the newcomers.
