Success at Avon Autumn Head

On the 17th November, the Senior Teams took part in their first race of the season, the Avon Autumn Head.

First down the 3.25km course for Swansea was the Senior Mens 8+. They rowed well and sped down the course with a time of 10:58.0. This gave them the 2nd fastest time of the day, only narrowly missing out on the top spot.

The Senior Women had two 4+ boats racing in the same division. Both boats raced well on the Avon, achieving 1st and 4th places.

The afternoon saw the Men taking to the water for a second time, this time in the 4x- and 4+. Both crews put in great performances with the 4+ taking the win in their category and the 4x- coming away with 2nd place.

An excellent day of racing for Swansea with medals being taken home across the squads.
